Today marks the official beginning of Fall Break. I celebrated with a series of happy hours before heading to Berryline with my friend Mallory, and now Mallory and I are sitting on the couch watching Project Runway before I head off to pick up my brother at the airport! It's wonderful to be sitting here and vegging out, not worried about planning or reteaching the red GLEs on my tracker or a new individual behavior plan for Nya. I'm really looking forward to spending time with Chris and enjoying some time off this weekend.
I came across this quote today in the Facebook frenzy over the passing of Steve Jobs. It really spoke to me because I finally feel like I am in a job that I love--even with all of its frustrations and all of its challenges. My mind could be changed by next week, of course, but for now, I'm happy to be going into this four-day weekend on a high note.
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking, and don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."
